When we originally pitched this episode to Ryan we had thought it would be about trashing this trainwreck of on an Oscar ceremony - suffice to say we were kind of wrong. We still had to bring our favorite movie critic and journalist, Ryan Scott, on to talk about the 2019 Oscars! We get into how the ceremony actually went pretty well, how this year felt different, the surprises of the night, what we thought was snubbed for nominations in general, and how why there might have been a ratings jump!
