Much like Deadpool would probably claim he was cut out of Avengers: Infinity War, our good friend - and previous guest of the show - Robert Bexar II was actually cut out of our Infinity War podcast episode (due to some technical difficulties). So it was only fitting that he get his own spinoff, to chat with us about a Marvel spinoff (kinda, not really). We go into full spoilers right away with our thoughts about Ryan Reynold's second outing as Wade Wilson. We talk about X-Force possibilities, how they robbed Morena of something to do, and how Peter is the best comic book character ever.
Check out Robert's campaign to fund his show 'Geek Haven' here: https://www.seedandspark.com/fund/geek-haven#story - even liking the page helps!
If you aren't the slightest bit familiar with our guest's voice for this episode then you must not have been playing video games for the last 4 years since she's been in some of the biggest titles from last year's smash hit 'Horizon: Zero Dawn' to 'Titanfall 2' and most notably playing one of the two protagonists in 'Assassin's Creed: Syndicate' - Evie Frye. Victoria Atkin joins us to talk about her work on television and video games, and how performing in modern day video games feels like theater in the round. She also talks about her work as an author, specifically about her book 'London Love'.
After the conversation, Derek and Myke talk about what they've been geeking out about lately, as well as all the recent television renewals and cancellations.
What better way to discuss the cinematic crossover event of our lives, with our own little Geek Universe crossover with our pals at God Hates Geeks - The 'Traveling Nerd' Lance Paul and Travis Moody. Together we get to the nitty gritty of the beating Thanos gave to our Favorite Mightiest Heroes and their galaxy Guarding friends. Of course we spend most of the episode speculating about Avengers 4 based on the comics, but we also nerd out about ... well... everything!
